Design by -Felix- from Grundstein.

This Cathedral was build in Lego Digital designer, Blue Renderer and Blueprint during 2016 and the construction took one and a half years.
A complete rework using Bricklink’s Stud.io was made in August 2021.

The Cathedral consists of over 22000 bricks and uses a lot of advanced techniques like stainend glass Windows, a lot of vertically placed bricks as well as huge parts of the building which are displaced by half a brick to each other.

The build is extremly complex, so it’s only recommended for experienced builders.  If build, it’s 89 cm high and it uses two 48×48 base- plates, so it measures 37x 78x 89cm. It’s fully interiored, has benches, sacresty, confessional and everything else a gothic Cathedral needs and is devideable in 11 submodels.

I designed it for everyone who collects and loves the modular building series and wants to complete his city with an epic cathedral or is looking for a new centerpiece for the Lego collection.

I build it for everyone who collects and loves the modular building series and wants to complete his modular city with an epic cathedral.

The instructions consists of 8 PDFs (190 mb) and one XML- partlist to buy the bricks you need, both made with Stud.io.

Have fun while building 🙂

NOTE: The cathedral you see in the following Video was build using some different colors or parts than in the instructions, so you might notice some differences and modifications.

Chris from @lets go Lego on Youtube is doing a beautiful series about building the Cathedral. If you want a peak into the process of sorting the bricks and the building process, you should definitively give it a watch:

      Hello Luke,

It depends on the time of the year (christmas is far more expensive), but you have to calculate at least approximatly 2100€. Roughly 0,10€ per part.

There seems to be no “direct” way, but maybe this helps: https://www.bricklink.com/messageThread.asp?ID=227860

You can also user the free tool gyazo to create screenshots.
