Hello everyone,
Here’s another replica of one of my most favorite dream cars as a kid, the legendary Pontiac Trans Am Firebird. Actually I’ve always wanted to build one and finally got the chance to do so. Can’t particularly say it was easy to build, faced some issues with the build here and there but finally I could pull this out. In general I’m pretty satisfied with the results and I hope that you do too. Took me around month and a half to get done and built at my usual scale of 1:16, that’s my favorite scale to display on my shelf.
Almost all the pieces used in this model are widely available on Bricklink, Brickowl… etc. Model has several functional elements such as opening doors, hood, trunk, movable seats, opening arm rest, and working steering for display purposes (not connected to a steering wheel inside the cabin).
Model is sturdy enough to play with and display.
Instructions provided are made digitally and high in quality, very similar to the ones you get from official LEGO sets.
Model design : Firas Abu-Jaber
Model instructions : Ron Hebben
Note, stickers for this model will be available soon on JaapTechnic’s website.
Thanks for looking
