Hello everyone!  This LEGO Frame MOC is a modification of official set 60227 Lunar Space Station. Most interior features, such as “kitchen”, sleeping “room”, exercise “room” and the lab are retained using the oriainal bricks but since the set does not have many large parts to build the dark space backdrop, thus one may need a number of extra black and white bricks to build this frame.  In the download you will find a txt file with which you can import to Bricklink.com for ordering the extra parts only.  In the PDF building instruction, you can also find one page listing all extra parts required. 

The idea of my LEGO Frame Project comes from the situation that displaying an official set at home needs too much space, especially for me living in apartment but not a house.  When a new set comes, the old set have to go.  However, instead of putting the old set back to its box, would it be a good idea to reduce it into a photo frame and hang it on the wall?  Displaying a photo frame needs only minimal space and one can keep the set free from dust!

This framed MOC fits perfectly in an IKEA Ribba frame 23cm x 23 cm (9 in x 9 in).
