Product consists of digital instructions only!

All you need to build this Vintage Pickup Truck is just 1 copy of the Creator Expert set 10252 Volkswagen Beetle and these instructions. That’s all!

This model is inspired by vintage American pickup trucks from the 1930’s. It consists of 937 pieces, using around 80% of the original set, including 1 of the spare parts. If you want you can keep the surfboard in tact because none of these parts are required for the model.

The truck features opening bonnet with a small engine under the hood, opening doors to access the interior and a tailgate to access the flatbed. Other details include small antenna mirrors, panel bars, side steps, and a classic bench inside.  The pick-up can easily be picked up and played with, with a strong chassis and solid structure.

Dimensions: 301 x 119 x 122 mm

The instructions are clear yet concise with just around 90 pages and provide an enjoyable alternative experience.

NKubate

My name is Nathanaël Kuipers, and I'm a former set designer for TLG, who still occasionally builds today.

NKubate is a combination of my initials NK and the word incubate which is often seen as a process in which new ideas hatch.
Furthermore NKubate can stand for a shorter version of:
Nate's Custom Builds, an Alternative Experience, because many of my builds are alternative models from official sets and I hear often that people really enjoy the experience of recreating them, sometimes making the comparison of building an official product.

Why do I mostly build alternates? Because I want to stimulate creativity and show that you don't need many pieces to build something cool. But on top of that, I also want to promote the concept of trying to reuse our resources as best as we can for a more sustainable future.
So I kindly encourage you to check out my work and find out for yourself.

Thanks for visiting!
