The Stranger Things boys Will, Mike, Dustin and Lucas have broken into the old, derelict Comic Book Shop to try out their Ouija board, watch the trailer to see what they’ve accidentally summoned… Only Eleven can save them now!

This is an alternative build using only parts from 75810 The Upside Down (Stranger Things), no additional parts or spares are required. 

Included is a hand-crafted 283 page PDF instruction manual which contains 443 instructions, an inventory, helpful tips and display suggestions, created using Stud.io. Care has been taken to make the instructions easy to read and follow and they have been tested on building the model for real.

This is a completely original alternative build, designed in the modular building style to fit in with your modular street but also designed to fit into the Stranger Things world. It is 16×32, the same width as each section of the Bookshop modular.

There are four main components.

The Comic Book Shop – An abandoned, derelict Comic Book shop with cracks in the pavement and boarded up windows. 

It contains a full shop interior complete with comic book shelves, boxes and posters. On the table is a Ouija board where the boys are summoning something dangerous… 

Built into the removable roof is a unique hand-crank mechanism that causes the light above the porch to flicker ominously, check out the trailer to see it in action. 

Creepy Tree and Basement – In the back yard is a large, old, dead tree that hangs over the Comic Book Shop. The tree can be rotated to make sure it fits with your modular street. Next to it is a creepy basement entrance, who knows what lurks inside!

Pick Up Truck – Jim and Joyce have come looking for the boys in a Pick Up Truck which includes a tilt-able bed and tailgate and room to fit a minifigure inside. 

The Mind Flayer  – The boys have accidentally unleashed the terrifying Mind Flayer! Towering over the Comic Book Shop, the optional Mind Flayer build is fully pose-able and sturdy enough to play with and hold it’s own weight while it searches for it’s victims. Only Eleven can stop it!

This build allows you to use the original printed pieces and stickers or you can go without if you’d prefer. The instructions clearly indicate where these can be used with accompanying photos to show placement. The instructions are designed so that multiple people can build the different parts independently if you like to build with friends.
