Porsche 911 debuted in September 1964 and remains continuously in production until now. This famous rear-engined sports car has been enhanced through the years but the basic concept remains unchanged. The model is a 1975 Porsche 911 turbo version.

This is an 8 studs wide Speed Champions style 345 pieces detailed and solid build display model. There are some advanced, yet easy to follow building techniques used.

The finished model fits one minifigure with a helmet or short hair on driver’s seat. In order to fit a minifigure you would have to replace the steering wheel for instance with a round 1×1 tile. I’ve used bigger steering wheel (part 16091) than those used in all Speed Champions sets, because it is more appropriate in this scale.

You would probably like to apply stickers from the 75995 Porsche 911 set (sticker sheet not included in the parts list) to get front and rear emblems as well as black stripes for the bumpers. If you don’t have one, you may just cut 3 mm wide black stripes from any used sticker sheet (most of them have black unused stripe on a side) to get the right bumper look.

You may build different color versions – all you have to do is to change the color of the red parts and check availability for desired one. Parts specified in yellow and light bluish gray are not visible and may be replaced with any other color.
