This is a scale model of the 2021 Red Bull Formula One car, which was raced by Max Verstappen who won his first championship and Sergio Perez. At approximately 1:15 scale, it pairs nicely with the Ferrari F40 official LEGO set.

This model was quite a challenge to build, as some shapes – particularly the sidepods and engine cover – were very difficult recreate. But in the end, I am very happy with how this turned out and is currently my favorite F1 car that I’ve built.

The engine cover is removable, revealing the Honda 1.6 L V6 turbocharged hybrid engine. This MOC consists of 752 LEGO bricks and can be built in roughly 7 hours.
