Introduction

This MOC consists of a medieval Castle Tower-Gate!! It is the third MOC related to a modular medieval fortress and it comes as a continuation of my two previous creations, Castle Tower and Castle Wall.

The Castle Gate is full of details and it is designed in a similar way as the other two castle MOCs. The interior (including 4 different rooms) is fully equipped and the exterior is thoroughly decorated with sculptures and engravings.

The Tower-Gate MOC contains a wooden portcullis (heavy vertically-closed gate) to ensure a safe entrance into the fortress and two fortified towers which are used both for the defence of the caste and the living of the gate’s guards. Each of the two modular towers consists of three parts: the ground floor, the first floor and the roof. The two top parts can be easily removed and give full access to every room. The main rooms included in the towers of this unique MOC are: guards sleeping-room (with a distinctive stone fireplace), weapons storage-room, guards dining-room and the War-room where the commanders can plan their strategic objectives to defend the fortress successfully! Last but not least, the wondrous statue of the Guardian Angel of the fortress can be admired at the entrance of the castle.
