Lamborghini Countach is probably the craziest and most exotic supercar of the XX century: extremely fast, extremely expensive, not so comfortable, pretty hard to drive and with one of a kind out-of-space design styled by Bertone. It was produced from 1974 to 1990 in many different versions evolving throughout the years. This is one of the most recognizable Lamborghini Countach LP5000 Quattrovalvole version introduced in 1985 – the real icon of the 80’s.
This is an 8 studs wide Speed Champions style 325 pieces detailed and solid build model. There are some advanced, yet easy to follow building techniques used.
The finished model fits one minifigure with a helmet or short hair on driver’s seat. In order to fit a minifigure you would have to replace the steering wheel for instance with a round 1×1 tile. I use the bigger steering wheel (part 16091) than those used in all Speed Champions sets because it is more appropriate in this scale.
Custom stickers for this MOC were designed by ultimatecollectorstickers.co.uk and are available here. Stickers definitely add much authenticity to the model yet these are not necessary as the model looks decent even without them. If you decide not to order dedicated sticker sheet I would recommend changing 1×8 tile at the front for two 92593 or 41740 modified plates 1×4 with 2 studs to add some details at the front. I would also recommend cutting out from any original LEGO sticker sheets: two 3 x 12 mm red stripes for the doors rear pillars and two 6,5 x 7,5 red stripes to cover sides of the rear lamps.
