Donatello, a fictional character, is one of the Ninja Turtles. His bandana is usually purple, his favorite color (although the four turtles originally had a red bandana), and his weapon is a bo, which he sometimes also uses as a tool. Donatello is the group’s intellectual and is comfortable with machines, usually pacifist, diplomat, although other personality traits vary depending on the circumstances. It is named after Donatello (Donato di Nicollo di Betto Bardi), the famous Renaissance sculptor.
