Located in the Marassi district, Luigi Ferraris stadium hosts the home matches of Genoa CFC and UC Sampdoria, the two main teams of the city of Genoa.
Inaugurated in 1911, it is the Italian oldest stadium still used for football matches. It was completely rebuilt for the 1990 World Cup, becoming a real landmark for its “English” configuration of the grandstands, different from most of the Italian stadiums.
Currently, it has a capacity of approximately 37000.

Situato nel quartiere Marassi, lo stadio Luigi Ferraris ospita le partite interne di Genoa CFC e UC Sampdoria, ovvero le due squadre più rappresentative della città di Genova.
Inaugurato nel 1911, è il più antico stadio d’Italia ancora in uso. In occasione dei Mondiali di calcio del 1990 è stato completamente ricostruito nella configurazione “all’inglese” che oggi è possibile ammirare e che lo distingue dalla maggior parte degli stadi italiani.
Attualmente ha una capienza di circa 37000 spettatori.

Bricks & Stadiums

"Two worlds, one passion"
My name is Daniel, I’m 29 years old and I’m a big fan of LEGO®. I love also sports, football and tennis above all.
As a child I had a lot of fun creating models with my few pieces. Now that I’m an engineer, the desire to play with bricks has not certainly abandoned me.
Inspired by the masterpieces of sports architecture, I decided to devote a part of my work to these projects, trying to reproduce some of the most beautiful world stadiums as realistically as possible.

Mi chiamo Daniel, ho 29 anni e sono super appassionato di LEGO®. Adoro anche lo sport, calcio e tennis su tutti.
Fin da piccolo mi divertivo a costruire liberamente con i pochi pezzi che avevo a disposizione. Ora che sono un ingegnere, la voglia di giocare coi mattoncini non mi ha certo abbandonato.
Ispirato dai capolavori dell’architettura sportiva, ho deciso di dedicare una parte del mio lavoro a questi progetti, cercando di riprodurre nel modo più realistico possibile alcuni degli stadi più belli del mondo.
