First MOC of 2021!

The SS Normandie was a beautiful French ocean liner operated by the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique from the 1935 to the 1942. This ship had a huge size (even bigger than the Queen Mary) but was also fine and elegant, with her aft terraces and the aerodynamic bow; as for many others beautiful ships, the fate of the Normandie was disastrous: she caught fire at the New York pier and capsized because of the weight of the water used by firefighters.

This model is a 1:400 scale replica of the ship, it is 32 inches long and 3,8 in wide and it has 3300+ parts; it is the largest Creator MOC that I have designed so far!
The model includes all the major traits of the Normandie as the bow windbreaker and the bulbous bow, wich are both typical innovative features of this ship; and also the stern lido decks with the round terraces and the outside pool.
