This predominantly fish restaurant serves a variety of seafood dishes consisting of fresh daily catch and also frozen reserves. Although not prominent there are also some great meat specialties on the menu such as beefsteak and rump steak tagliatas. The restaurant offers a good selection of local fine wines and of course some delicious desserts to sweeten your day.

I envisioned this as a restaurant by the sea located in a smaller touristic town where LEGO minifigs like to spend their summer vacation. A place where after a whole day of swimming and enjoying in the sun they’ll take a stroll along the waterfront promenade and turn to a fine restaurant to have dinner with the view of the setting sun on the sea horizon.

The model itself is loosely inspired by the restaurant it the marina near to my hometown. I started with a terrace and the front facade and worked my way in. The glass rooftop which is in my opinion the most prominent and attractive feature of the MOC wasn’t something that I envisioned from the start. The thing was that I didn’t want the roof to be too big so once I got to a desired height it just came to me to make it that way.

MOC consists of two main separate sub-models; the pedestal and the restaurant itself. Furthermore the restaurant has a detachable roof that consists of it’s own two sub-models; the outer shell and the glass rooftop that can also be easily separated as shown in the renders above.
