At this precise moment,  the Science Laboratory known as Perseverance travels and studies the reddish landscapes of Mars. What would it happen  if it suddenly find a mass of water? Maybe an unknown ocean? It will be spectacular news for humankind, but the Perseverance will find itself incapable of analyze the new environment.

We know for sure that there are no oceans on Mars, but there on the more distant planets and satellites, where the presence of water is suspected (eg Europa, Jupiter’s sixth satellite), there must be amazing things waiting to be discovered. And we will need the support of Marco Polo, the Interstellar Aquatic Science Laboratory, named after the ancient Venetian explorer and adventurer.
