The Renault RE40 as driven by Alain Prost and Eddie Cheever in the 1983 F1 season.

It was designed by Michel Tetu, Bernard Dudot and Jean-Claude Migeot. With ground effect cars being banned for the 1983 season onwards the team had to make some major changes in order to get back some of the lost downforce.

The team claimed 4 wins, 3 pole positions and 3 fastest laps as Prost led the championship for most of the season. However it was not to be as the car’s turbo failed which resulted in losing the title by two points.

The car is designed so a complete minifig can fit. It is also designed to match the speed champions 2020 scale as closely as possible.

Free sticker sheet now available with the instructions! It must be printed on a white vinyl sheet at a 1:1 ratio (do not scale and must be actual size). The sticker sheet will also be made available from https://www.ultimatecollectorstickers.co.uk/

Minifig is NOT included in the instructions or parts list.
PLEASE NOTE: This listing includes instructions only and no bricks will be supplied!

The bricks can be bought from bricklink.com.

To buy the bricks either refer to the guide included in downloadable files on how to import a xml list on bricklink or refer to the parts list if you are planning to buy from any other website.

Unfortunately I don’t accept any refunds or returns but if you have any problems with your purchase please let me know!
