The McLaren MP4/23 was used to compete in the 2008 F1 season and famously help bring Lewis Hamilton his first of many driver championship titles edging Felipe Massa in the narrowest of margins.

This particular championship was decided in literally in one of the final corners of the final race when he passed Timo Glock whom struggled for grip as he was on the wrong tyres. That moment is famously remembered for the words shouted by Martin Brundle “Is that Glock?!” whom was the commentator at that time and this race has gone down as one of the best in F1 history.
The MP4/23 marked the end of an era in which complex aerodymic designs were used across the car and the elegant shape we are all used to in general for F1 cars was hidden away under all the extra wings/fins as seen on this design!
The car is designed so a complete minifig can fit by temporarily removing the tiles on the side of the cockpit. It is also designed to match the speed champions 2020 scale as closely as possible.
Free sticker sheet now available with the instructions! It must be printed on a white vinyl sheet at a 1:1 ratio (do not scale and must be actual size). The sticker sheet will also be made available from https://www.ultimatecollectorstickers.co.uk/
