The F1 Ferrari SF70H as driven by Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen in the 2017 season.
It was designed by Mattia Binotto, Simone Resta, Enrico Cardile, David Sanchez and Rory Byrne. The team claimed 5 wins, 20 podiums, 5 pole positions and 7 fastest laps as they ended second in the constructor’s championship.
It was a fierce title fight between Hamilton and Vettel which boiled over at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Behind the safety car Vettel hit the back of a slowing Hamilton which in turn he drove alongside him and hit him from the side. The contacts were minor but Vettel had front wing damage and a 10 second stop-go penalty at the end of it.
It proved to be a season in which Ferrari couldn’t always capitalize on their opportunities and the most remembered would be Singapore. Vettel started 1st and Raikkonen 3rd and as they started Vettel was trying to cover off Verstappen but Raikkonen had a superb start. This caused Verstappen to be wedged between the two Ferrari’s causing a collision between the three of them.
The car is designed so a complete minifig can fit by temporarily removing the tiles on the side of the cockpit. It is also designed to match the speed champions 2020 scale as closely as possible.
