Panzer II Ausf.F (DAK)
The MOC is built in a minifig scale but in order to ensure the structural integrity, there is no place for a minifig. The left side of the rear chassis has a hinge door, and an interrior for the Maybach HL 62 TR engine. The decals on the model are belonging to the 21st Panzer Divison fought in North Africa under Field Marshal Erwin Rommel.

The scale of the vehicle is around 1/28, and it requires aftermarket 1.5 width track links. (65-67 per side, and 7 attached to the engine cover, so around 141 total).
About the Panzer II Ausf.F:
The Panzer II was considered as an iterim solution until the  Panzer III and Panzer IV medium tanks are going to an effective mass production. Despite its shortcomings it was the backbone of the panzer divisions int he early campaigns of World War II.
The Panzer II Ausf.F was built with the thicker, 30 mm armour on the front of the hull and the turret. The first Ausf.F light tanks were completed in March 1941. The typ was mainly used on the Eastern Front for reconnaissane, but some Panzer II Ausf.F were sent to Africa as replacements for the 2nd Battalion, 5th Panzer Regiment, 21st Panzer Division.
