Enrich your Harry Potter Architecture collection by adding The Hogwarts Express arriving at Hogsmeade Station! You can also spot the flying Ford Anglia, the Thestral carriage and the Hogwarts boats.

I tried to make the train and the station as close and detailed as possible to the movie versions (yes, plural, both change a bit in the movies) while maintaining a size that is comparable to other offical Architecture sets. For the unseen parts in the movie I referred to the real world location used to film the scenes for the station (Goathland railway station in UK, check photo below without the train).

It was a struggle to use only existing non rare parts-color combinations to keep price low and make the train cars connect to the ground and between them but i think I managed it.

As a funny plus the instructions also include some info on the various buildings taken from https://harrypotter.fandom.com, so you might learn something new when building.

Notes:

• I used the new Stud.io Part Designer for the Hogwarts Express and Tender tiles in instructions and renders. The png files to print are also provided with the instructions.
• If you want it to be cheaper to buy (or you don’t like them) you can avoid the magic wands or change the color of them (I used the colors for Harry and Voldemort). Just remove them plus the 2 1×1 black clip (15712) and 2 1×1 black tile (3070) and use 2 1×2 black tiles (3069) to fill the gap. You will receive two XML file for the two version when you purchase.
• For the wands it’s cheaper and more common to buy the “Minifigure, Utensil Wand, 2 on Sprue” (36752c01) on bricklink rather than the single wand (36752) which is the only version listed here on rebrickable.
