1980’s Style – NASA S3B Viking Research Aircraft (US Navy Versions also Available)

(I always preferred this era of lego airplane to the newer big ones).
Cabin Roof Hinged Opens, Two-Seat System Operators Panels.

Minifigs listed as spare parts.   Sticker Paper needed to print the stickers.

” NASA was able to use the Viking as a testbed for communications equipment as it flies steadily at low speeds and altitudes, giving a better link to ground stations.
NASA also used the S-3B in environmental monitoring (over all kinds of terrain) and aviation safety. A particularly interesting safety project saw the S-3B deployed to establish communication standards for uncrewed aircraft in US airspace.”
